By Chen Shun  /  04 Mar 2020 (Wednesday)

Sony Pictures has released a new behind-the-scenes featurette for their upcoming superhero adaption film of “Bloodshot”. In the trailer, they invited the comic books creator Bob Layton and Kevin VanHook along with the main cast led by Vin Diesel as they talked about the origins of the titular character. The comic books authors basically summed up Bloodshot in one sentences:

“Kind of like Frankenstein as James Bond.”

Synopsis:  Based on the bestselling comic book, Vin Diesel stars as Ray Garrison, a soldier recently killed in action and brought back to life as the superhero Bloodshot by the RST corporation.  With an army of nanotechnology in his veins, he’s an unstoppable force –stronger than ever and able to heal instantly.  But in controlling his body, the company has sway over his mind and memories, too.  Now, Ray doesn’t know what’s real and what’s not – but he’s on a mission to find out.

In Bloodshot it will be starring Vin Diesel (Fast & Furious), Toby Kebbell (Dawn of the Planet of the Apes), Sam Heughan (Outlander), Eiza Gonzalez (Baby Driver) and Guy Pearce (Prometheus).
