20th Century Fox has released the first trailer for the upcoming romance-disaster film The Mountain Between Us, starring Academy Award winner Kate Winslet and Golden Globe winner Idris Elba.
Based on the book by Charles Martin, the complete strangers met at the airport when they flight got cancelled, so they chartered a flight together in hopes to get to their destination in time. The plane crashes on a remote mountain and in order to survive being stranded in the snow-covered wilderness, they have to depend on each other as they embark on a dangerous journey through the icy mountains.

Stranded after a tragic plane crash, two strangers must forge a connection to survive the extreme elements of a remote snow-covered mountain. When they realise help is not coming, they embark on a terrifying journey across hundreds of miles of wilderness, pushing one another to endure and igniting an unexpected attraction. The film is directed by Academy Award nominee Hany Abu-Asad and stars Academy Award winner Kate Winslet and Idris Elba.
Hany Abu-Assad is directing the adventure epic which opens InCinemas 26 October 2017.
