Today is not just the 4th day of the month of May, but May the 4th is a special day for all Star Wars fans - because it’s about celebrating the Force. So Happy Star Wars Day! We hope you’re having some kind of celeBB-8-tion on this special day!
The cast of Rian Johnson’s highly-anticipated Star Wars: Episode VIII made a special video to celebrate this day, as well as voice their support for a charity cause. Daisy Ridley and a few of her Star Wars friends from the galaxy far, far away have some things to share!
Singapore celebrated Star Wars Day last weekend with a 2-day bazaar filled with Star Wars activites, performances, live sketching, workshops and many toy collections! InCinemas was there to mingle with fellow Jedis Knights, Siths, Stormtroopers and we even met Darth Vader!

Star Wars: Episode VIII, which is written and directed by Rian Johnson and continues the storylines introduced in Star Wars: The Force Awakens, welcomes back cast members Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, Adam Driver, Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Lupita Nyong’o, Oscar Isaac, Domhnall Gleeson, Anthony Daniels, Gwendoline Christie, and Andy Serkis. New cast members will include Academy Award winner Benicio Del Toro, Academy Award nominee Laura Dern, and talented newcomer Kelly Marie Tran.
Star Wars: Episode VIII is scheduled for release in December 2017.
