Adorable ‘Scoob’ trailer reveals how Scooby-Doo got its name

The new ‘Scoob!’ movie features an all-star voice cast including Amanda Seyfried, Zac Efron, Will Forte, Gina Rodriguez, Mark Walhberg, Jason Isaacs, Tracy Morgan and Ken Jeong. Warner Bros. released the debut trailer for their reimagining of Scooby-Doo and the mystery-solving gang.
Titled ‘Scoob’, the new movie is a prequel to the 1969 series. It reveals how Scooby and Shaggy first met and how they joined the other young detectives Fred, Velma and Daphne to form the famous Mystery Inc.
Frank Welker will reprise his role as Scooby-Doo, a role he has voiced since 2002. Zac Efron voices Fred Jones, Will Forte as Shaggy, Gina Rodriguez as Velma, Amanda Seyfried as Daphne and Jason Isaacs as Dick Dastardly.
There are many ‘awww-inducing’ moments in this 2-minute trailer, especially when it comes to the friendship between Shaggy and Scooby-Doo.

Scoob! is set to be the first film in the new Hanna-Barbera Cinematic Universe which will be reviving cartoon classics for the big screen like The Jetsons, The Flintstones and Wacky Races.
Scoob! is set to open InCinemas May 2020.
