Fulfill your Kpop dream in K-Pop Star Hunt Season 3! Send in your auditions and you might be the next Kpop sensation!

K-Pop Star Hunt is making its triumphant return with Season 3! Organized by channel M, FOX International Channels’ leading Korean entertainment channel, with Singapore’s fun and friendly low-cost airline, Scoot, coming onboard as the title sponsor, Scoot: K-Pop Star Hunt 3 will create the new audition fever with full training support from FNC Entertainment, one of the top-tier music labels in Korea!

Aspiring hopefuls with outstanding singing and dancing abilities from five countries, including Singapore, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Malaysia and Thailand, will have the once-in-a-lifetime chance to be in the spotlight of Asia, realize their K-pop dreams and vie for the coveted title as winner of Scoot: K-Pop Star Hunt 3!

As K-pop continues to grow in popularity around the world, Scoot: K-Pop Star Hunt 3 offers talents in Southeast Asia a great opportunity to become part of the Hallyu wave! In previous seasons, talents across Asia had the privilege to go behind the scenes and make their own K-Pop dreams come true. Among them are two Thai winners, Sorn and Ling Ling, who are in the midst of preparing for their singing debut. This year, Scoot: K-Pop Star Hunt 3, returns to Asia bigger and better than ever! Scoot, the Singapore-based Low-cost Airline of the Year, has joined channel M to support Asian youths as they pursue their dreams of being the next K-Pop star.

Scoot: K-Pop Star Hunt 3 is also proud to have FNC Entertainment as the official training partner, which manages some of Korea’s best K-pop talents such as idol boy band groups, CN BLUE, FT ISLAND, girl band, AOA and soloist Juniel.

Channel M, CJ E&M and FNC Entertainment will be organizing preliminary auditions in Singapore, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Malaysia and Thailand where they will select the 2 most outstanding contestants from each territory. These finalists will be flown to Seoul to receive professional training with CJ E&M and FNC Entertainment where they would compete to be among the Top 4 for the final round!

The Top 4 finalists will then head to Singapore for a special Final Showcase Concert for one last performance which will also determine their fate. The ultimate winner of Scoot: K-Pop Star Hunt 3 will be offered a contract deal with CJ E&M and FNC Entertainment and undergo intensive training to be a K-pop singer. He/she also stands a chance to collaborate with artists from FNC Entertainment and make a stage appearance on 2014 Global M! Countdown with his/her own debut single. The entire audition and training process will be filmed and broadcasted across Asia as a weekly survival reality television programme and is set to premiere in November on channel M, and simulcast on FOX International Channels’ leading entertainment channels; STAR Chinese Channel, STAR World, and music channel, Channel [V].

To get started on your idol dream, simply upload your best K-pop song-and-dance routines to the official website at www.kpopstarhunt.com as video submissions open on August 1st. K-pop fans between 15 and 29 years of age in the aforementioned countries will have more than 6 weeks (submission deadline varies in different countries) to upload their video submissions. Don’t forget to check the website regularly for the latest updates and exciting fresh entries, as well as guidelines and rules to enter the competition!

Scoot: K-pop Star Hunt 3 will also be conducting public auditions in 5 cities across Asia so please mark your calendars and keep a lookout for more details on the upcoming auditions in your own city!
