Transformers Robots Spotted at The Cathay!

By InCinemas  /  02 Jun 2014 (Monday)

Fans of the Transformers movie franchise will now get the chance to catch two of their favourite Transformers robots on display exclusively at The Cathay from 2 June to 31 July 2014.

Ahead of the movie Transformers: Age of Extinction, Cathay Organisation and United International Pictures (UIP) will be displaying two of the most popular Transformers robots; Optimus Prime and Bumblebee, at The Cathay's entrance this school holidays.

(View movie details/trailers here!)

Optimus Prime is the iconic leader of the Autobots and has drawn legions of fans with his bravery and wisdom; whilst Bumblebee has captured hearts with his steadfast loyalty and witty personality.

Towering at three metres tall each, the two larger-than-life Transformers statues will stand guard at The Cathay, creating a fantastic photo opportunity for fans of the friendly robot protectors. The Cathay will be the only shopping mall and cineplex to host the Optimus Prime and Bumblebee statues for this movie release.

As a special treat for fans to be the first to catch Optimus Prime, Bumblebee and more of their fellow Transformers robots on the big screen, Cathay Organisation and UIP will be giving away five pairs of movie tickets to the premiere of Transformers: Age of Extinction via an Instagram contest.

(Find out more about the contest at Cathay Lifestyle Facebook here!)

Interested participants are encouraged to take photos of themselves with the Transformers statues at The Cathay, upload the photos onto Instagram, tagging @CathayLifestyle as well as the two hashtags #CathayLifestyle_Transformers and #Transformers4. The Instagram contest will end on Wednesday, 18 June 2014. The five most creative photos selected by Cathay and UIP will be announced as the contest winners.

Transformers: Age of Extinction opens InCinemas 26 June 2014!
