Ellie Goulding Talks McFly and Future Music Direction!

Singer-songwriter Ellie Goulding was back in Singapore last weekend as part of her Halcyon Tour.
During the press conference, she shared about her music direction, collaboration with singers and how she is a fan of The Game Of Thrones!
Goulding may be only 27 years-old, but despite her young age, she has a number of hit songs on the Billboard chart, collaborated with many other talented artistes and even sang the soundtrack of hit movies like Divergent and Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn.
Universal Music Singapore also presented her with a Gold Award plaque,
in recognition of over 5000 album units sold for Halcyon and Halcyon
Days.
When asked about enjoyable music collaborations, the 'Burn' hit-maker stated that Calvin Harris was 'fun' and will be creating something on soon. Goulding posted a photo with Harris in a music studio on her Instagram yesterday. Perhaps we are expecting another single coming up from this duo? The musical dream team previously worked together for 'I Need Your Love'.
In terms of her life updates after this tour, she stated she needed a short break.
"I've been busy touring with my album so for my next move, I might be travelling, not in the touring sense but to give myself a break and enjoy. I would love to stay in a country for at least a week."
"I literally just finished the first series but I'm finding myself like laughing out loud and be genuinely gobsmacked by what's happening." She even admitted to liking medieval stuff and selected 'Braveheart' as her favourite film of all-time.
A media representative posed a rather complicated question to Goulding, asking her to choose either 1 Direction or McFly, if they were to be stuck on an island together. Of course, the chart-topping singer chose the latter just so she can spend more time with her boyfriend Dougie Poynter, vocalist and guitarist for pop-rock band McFly.
"I don't get to see my boyfriend that often so I guess I got to say McFly just because my boyfriend is in that. Yes! I think I have to go with McFly," she chuckled.
