Singapore is selected as the next city after Hong Kong for Hallyu pop star Gary Kang's surprise visit in Asia!

As part of a new reality programme by Channel M, 'School's Out' showcases the surprise school visits of famous K-pop artists outside of Korea, allowing them to have face-to-face interaction with teenage K-pop fans all over Asia.

Gary Kang, the first appointed artist, will be touring Asia very soon to surprise the students. The school’s selection is based on the teenagers support by online entries at schoolsout.channelm.asia.

Hong Kong and Singapore are announced as the first two cities selected for School’s OUT filming! The winning entry that impresses Gary the most will win a chance to get up close and personal with Gary during the filming process.

Being appointed as the first Korean artist for School’s OUT , Gary was very excited, “I don’t want to make any plans, I think being spontaneous will be much more fun.” To all his Asian fans, Gary would like to thank them sincerely, “ There were times I felt tired, thanks to all your supportive SNS messages for cheering me up. I’ll continue to do my best in both music and variety shows. Please keep supporting me!”

Unlike other K-pop content that is produced locally in Korea, School’s OUT ,will document Gary’s surprise school visits in Asia, giving unsuspecting students a day to remember - a unique experience that would stand out from their everyday school routine.

Only one school from each region will have this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to meet and interact with Gary. His tours to the chosen schools as well as his preparation behind the scenes will be featured in the programme, in the hopes of sharing this experience with young K-pop fans all over Asia.

The show will be broadcasted on channel M in 10 Asian countries including Hong Kong, Singapore, Taiwan, Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, Philippines, Cambodia, Myanmar and Australia in Q4 2015.
