Husband and wife team - renowned award-winning Taiwanese director Wayne Peng (彭文淳) and producer Lim Sau Hoong (林少芬) will be releasing their debut feature film Precious Is The Night《今宵多珍重》and Singapore’s leading media entertainment and content company mm2 Entertainment Pte Ltd has announced its involvment with the film!
Precious Is The Night《今宵多珍重》is a Taiwanese-Singapore thriller set in 1960’s Singapore. Directed by Wayne, the film stars internet sensation model-photographer Chuando Tan (陈传多) as a 30-something doctor caught in a web of deceit, sex and lies. The murder drama revolves around the doctor who is engaged to make house calls to a mysterious wealthy family. The film also stars Taiwanese model Nanyeli 南苗 and model-actress Chang Tzulei (张子蕾), Singapore actress Xiang Yun (向云) and her daughter Chen Yixin (陈一心), and actor Tay Ping Hui (郑斌辉).
The creative power couple have a professional working relationship spanning more than 20 years but this will be their first time collaborating on a feature film.
Director Wayne Peng says,
“Why don’t you make a movie about Singapore?” is a question that has dogged me for many years since I moved here. Finally, two years ago, while I was having my usual tea at home, I looked out from the balcony and saw a beautiful full moon in a clear sky in the east. At the same time, there were dark clouds, muffled sound of thunder, and continuous lightning looming in the west.
One sky, two realities. “A full moon accompanied by lightning – that’s Singapore,” I thought. And that’s when I realized it was time to write my movie. A story about beautiful people with ugly hearts and intentions. You could say the idea came out of the blue.”
The film is currently in post-production and is produced by Pure Films 彭文淳電影 and mm2 Entertainment. mm2 Entertainment will also be handling the film's worldwide rights including sales and festival programming.

This is a very unique production, featuring talents from Singapore and Taiwan, made with passion by the husband and wife team of Wayne and Sau Hoong, both accomplished professionals in the advertising world.
