First Look at a New Korean Crime Drama

JTBC has released the first teaser for their upcoming drama 모범형사 (Model Detective)!
Model Detective is a crime drama that showcases the tough side of being a detective. It will focus on detectives who never give up in their quest of seeking the ugly truth, and it is said to mirror the lives of real-world detectives closely. The drama will star Son Hyun-joo, Jang Seung-jo and Lee Elijah.
Son Hyun-joo will play the lead Gang Do Chang, a detective with 18 years of experience, who uses his toughness and loyalty to crack cases instead of using scientific investigations or logical reasoning. Opposite him is Jang Seung-jo who plays Oh Ji Hyuk, an elite detective with 9 years of experience who does not like sharing his emotions due to an emotional trauma that he experienced at a young age.
Lee Elijah will be portraying Jin Seo Kyung, a reporter working for a major newspaper, with five years under her belt. Jin Seo Kyung has a sharp look and is often mistaken as a person with a fiery personality. She won’t be fazed by external factors when she is pursuing the truth of any news.
