Song Joong-ki has Made a Tough Decision to Step Down from an Upcoming Film

Song Joong-ki was initially supposed to start production on a new film titled Season of You and Me in the latter half of this year. But earlier this year, the actor’s other upcoming film Bogotá suspended all filming and production due to the COVID-19 outbreak.
The production team of Bogotá later announced that filming for the movie will only resume next year, which happens to clash with the production schedule of Season of You and Me. Due to the conflicting schedule of the two films, the actor had no choice but to drop the latter film as the filming for Bogotá is already semi-complete.
Song Joong-ki’s agency, History D&C, commented regarding this issue:
Song Joong-ki will not be appearing in ‘Season of You and Me.’ Due to this unavoidable situation, he is currently adjusting his schedule for the second half of the year. Nothing has yet been confirmed (about his upcoming plans).
He is planning to focus on his scheduled promotions for his movie ‘Space Sweepers'.
Song Joong-ki’s newest sci-fi blockbuster Space Sweeper is scheduled to premiere in the latter half of this year.
