Kenneth Branagh's semi-autobiographical tale has a star-studded cast!

Jamie Dornan and Caitriona Balfe have been cast as Kenneth Branagh parents in his upcoming semi-autobiograpgical film!
The film, which is reportedly titled Belfast, is written and directed by Branagh and is inspired by his childhood in Northern Ireland during the 1960s. The star-studded cast will also feature Dame Judi Dench in the role of Branagh's grandmother with Belfast-born actor and Game of Thrones star Ciaran Hinds playing his grandfather. Filming has reportedly begun in some parts of England in secret whilst plans are also afoot for more scenes for the movie the be filmed in Northern Ireland later this year.
Dornan is famously known for starring in the Fifty Shades trilogy and had last appeared in the animated musical film Trolls World Tour. Balfe on the other hand has been busy with her television drama series, Outlander. Her most recent feature film role was Mollie Miles in the award-winning Ford v Ferrari.
Branagh has an upcoming film he also directed and starred in, Death on the Nile, that is opening in cinemas October 15.
