MAMA, Who let these fans out?

Seriously, who let these fans out? Or should I say who make them in? Is it SNSD Girls' Generation? How about Super Junior? Or is it 2NE1? Imagine each Korean band I've mentioned is followed by screams beyond screams.. All thanks to 2011 MAMA..
The major annual award show, Mnet Asian Music Awards (MAMA), took place in our local Singapore Indoor Stadium for the first time on 29 November 2011, Tuesday, and it was broadcast LIVE by many local and foreign media throughout the world! Its slogan this year "Music Makes One" hopes to have every artists and fans from Asia, and all around the world becoming one under the name of "Music".
This is one grand event not to be missed! Throng of fans were seen gathering around the Singapore Indoor Stadium to show their support for their favourite stars and idols!
In fact InCinemas was there at the MAMA awards! From the pictures, you can more or less figure out where we're sitting. Not exactly able to look at the stage as a whole, but it's probably the best position to view the entire stadium! Look at our first photo released in our MAMA Album on our Facebook page!

To tell the truth, the show had already begun when we got our seats at the Indoor Stadium. BEAST was singing in the midst of the cheers and very quickly HyunA of Korean girl group 4Minute made her appearance. What comes after really got us excited. If you're really into K-pop, you may be interested to check out tvN (Total Variety Network), which is said to be the leading Asian channel for lovers of K-culture.

Notice how the cheers escalates when Lee Chae-rin (CL) made her appearance, standing in for The Black Eyed Peas' Fergie, and sang Where Is The Love? alongside with apl.de.ap and will.i.am! The downside is probably the initial problem with CL's mic but even so, the group continues to deliver their song professionally and their performance is still very much enjoyable! CL's voice and rapping ability is totally captivating! You can watch the clip video over and over again!

The atmosphere in the Indoor Stadium is something you can't experience
when watching the LIVE broadcast of 2011 MAMA from the telecast. The
mood is really wild with all the enthusiastic cheers from the ground.
Basically a 1-2 second of the Korean artistes displayed on the 2 small
screens on either side of the stadium is able to incite a huge uproar!
Imagine watching the nomination clips together.. It's deafening.. But
not so much as to irritating. In fact, it feels really great!
During the introduction of SNSD (also known as Girls' Generation), I can really feel the heat of the flames firing up near the stage. Not that SNSD really need to heat things up as their presence is already driving their fans high up into the sky!

But then again, the broadcast brings the best view of all the performances, which is why, it's highly encouraged to watch these clips to get a better idea! One perfect reference will be Super Junior's superb performance in 2011 MAMA. I didn't really know where to focus on when the Indoor stadium turns red with the siren going off! Only until I watch the clip below and I finally understand what the commotion is all about! Enjoy~!

Honestly speaking, I can't understand a single word of the Korean language (and I have a funny feeling that many others could not as well) but this 2011 Mnet Asian Music Awards has delighted me with the power of Music! Indeed, Music Makes One! All the people coming from different background, language and culture gathered in the 2011 MAMA cheering and enjoying themselves (including the artistes)!
And now that I've watched the Korean bands (Super Junior, Girls' Generation, 2NE1 etc..) performing LIVE on stage.. I must say that this K-wave is pretty hard to resist.. If you find yourself watching or listening to the clips above more than once, welcome to the club!
