Based on the true stories of Malaysia's elite naval unit Pasukan Khas Laut (PASKAL), 'PASKAL: The Movie' follows Lieutenant Commander Arman Anwar, played by Hairul Azreen, as he struggles between being a military man and being a family man, while also dealing with loss and betrayal.

The action-packed movie also stars Gambit Saifullah, Jasmine Suraya Chin, and Henley Hii as well as real life PASKAL soldiers.

Released in Malaysian cinemas in late September, the movie broke box office records for this year, earning RM10.2million (nearly SGD3.5million) in its first week of release.

InCinemas speaks to director Adrian Teh, lead actor Hairul Azreen, and Gambit Saifullah about the challenges of filming and the rave reception that they have received from their fellow Malaysians, including the Navy chief himself.

Enjoy!

PASKAL: The Movie is currently in cinemas!
