Based on a book featured in the Harry Potter film series, Eddie Redmayne plays Newt Scamander, a ‘magizoologist' who accidentally unleashes a suitcase of magical beasts in 1920s New York.
Famed author J.K. Rowling will be debuting as a screenwriter with this film, that is slated to open islandwide this November!

Introducing the next film franchise from Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling … Fantastic Beasts & Where to Find Them is an extension of the wizarding world familiar to all Harry Potter fans and is based on a textbook Harry Potter reads while at Hogwarts.
This first film is set in New York during the 1920s and follows the adventures of Newt Scamander as he makes his way through a secret wizarding community in search of magical creatures. The franchise will have all the excitement, action and, of course, magic that has become the worldwide signature of the Harry Potter universe.
Also starring Katherine Waterston, Colin Farrell and Ezra Miller, Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them opens InCinemas 17 November 2016!
