Amy Adams loses her mind in 'The Woman in the Window' trailer

20th Century Fox has released the first trailer for Joe Wright’s ‘The Woman in the Window’ starring Oscar-nominee Amy Adams in this mystery thriller.
Based on the best-selling novel, the story follows a woman who has an extreme anxiety disorder, lives across the street from her New York City brownstone. She doesn’t like going out, nor enjoys the company of any strangers. When she let her neighbour into the house, the two quickly became friends and have lovely chats. Her life turned upside down when she believes she had witnessed a murder of her friend, but everyone around her questions her sanity.
The movie has gone through hurdles and delays as it was affected by the Disney-Fox merger. Nonetheless, it suffices to say - from the looks of the trailer - that Amy Adams is one hell of an actress and this movie plays to her intensity and versatility as an actress.
The Woman in the Window also stars Gary Oldman, Anthony Mackie, Wyatt Russel, Brian Tyree Henry and Julianne Moore. Opening InCinemas May 2020
