Here’s a first full-length trailer for Denis Villeneuve's latest sci-fi film, ‘Arrival’, the movie adaption of Ted Chiang’s ‘Story of Your Life’.
Starring Amy Adams as a linguist and translator, she is called in by the U.S. government to decipher a few codes and communicate with the aliens that have just arrived on Earth in an weird-looking orb. It is up to Dr. Banks (Adams) to communicate with the aliens before it escalates into a mass destruction.
It does look like there’s a lot less action in this sci-fi movie, compared to the list of alien-fighting films we’ve seen in the past few months, but with adams headlining this drama, all we can expect is at least a great performance from this Oscar-winning actress.
